Taking a break from the President Zuma and Julius Malema war, the president takes a weekend to marry his long standing engagement to Bongi Ngema.
There is no secret how some South Africans feel about the life style of President Jacob Zuma, as his wedding plans and events accoutred angry and upset public citizens publicly tweeted and posted about how they felt about Zuma’s decision to take a fourth wife. The budget for the spousal support in the presidency nearly doubled after president Jacob Zuma took power.

The budget was increased to R15 517 500 for 2010 in the mid-year adjusted estimates of national expenditure, Minister in the Presidency Collins Chabane said in response to a question by the Democratic Alliance
The allocation covers the costs of a personal secretary and a researcher to support the president’s wives in their projects.
President Zuma is the first South African president to be polygamous. Some feel that it will create more of this life style in homes. Other citizens are worried about the expenses he covers with such large families and for those whom don’t know his tradition they think it’s just immoral. The Zulus know that this is his tradition and most celebrate with him, VIP’s and many celebrities as well as the groom and brides family were treated to a lavish weekend wedding.
Saturday Zuma and Ngema celebrated their wedding and this was his sixth wedding celebrated in a second day of weekend festivities filled with traditional Zulu culture. He now has four wives, one has passed away and Nonkosazana Zuma divorced the president some years ago. The wedding ceremony is said to have taken place in Nkandla where they had a beautifully decorated white marquee.
Bongi Ngema a business woman in Umlazi, now Bongi Ngema-Zuma has officially signed on the first wives team, she might not be the last Mrs Jacob Zuma. The president has not ruled out the possibility of him taking another wife.
He said MaNgema should "keep the door open" as she had found it, referring to the fact his other wives had welcomed her into the family –
Presidential spokesman, Mac Maharaj, said last week Zuma’s wedding was by invitation only. But Zuma’s neighbours said when the president was down celebrating his 70th birthday he announced his wedding so they understood it to be an invitation to the big wedding being planned. Mac Maharaj also mentioned that the president would be paying for his wedding out of his pocket. However this statement did not stop the public from commenting on news sights that we had a lavishly living president that is seen as wasting money.www.iol.com
